Curvy fashion fan Alex Michael May, who is from the US, put it to the test – and was very impressed with the results.

Taking to TikTok, she posted a video where she can be seen reviewing the £66 Skims mid-thigh sculpting bodysuit with gusset.

In the clip, she begins: “You might have seen this little, iddy-biddy bodysuit – it looks tiny and I am not…

“I’m going to show you how this actually fits the body and I’m going to style it into an outfit today.”

Alex then shows what the flattering bodysuit looks like on.

“This bodysuit is kind of miraculous,” she gushes. “It really sculpts in all the right places.

“I love how snatched it makes me feel.”

It looks so smooth and good under jeans and can totally double as a bodysuit – especially if you get darker colours.

Next, Alex demonstrates how the shapewear can make the perfect outfit.

“I’m just going to pull on these super cute pearl heels, a little cropped blazer and a nice bag and as you can see, this bodysuit really pulls this outfit together. I love it!” she says.

The post has since been flooded with comments from fashion fans up and down the country.

“Looks so great!!!” praised one.

A second enthused: “Beautiful.”

A third gushed: “Love it! You are beautiful.”
