The brand-new Onvo Travel Plaza in Dorrance will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

The new facility, located at 7018 Blue Ridge Trail right off Exit 155 from Interstate 81, will feature Sunoco gas, truck diesel fuel and a full-size Burger King, among many other amenities.

This location marks Onvo’s first ground-up construction of their new store prototype, with features like bean-to-cup coffee machines, two showers and a walk-in beer cooler area called the Beer Barn.

The new travel plaza will also feature a section dedicated to local products from the NEPA region, including local sodas and snacks like jerky and trail mix.

“We’re very excited to celebrate the second anniversary of our rebranding, which occurred last week, with the opening of this location,” said Sonny Singh, Chief Business Development Officer at Onvo. “This store is the culmination of everything we hope the Onvo brand to be moving forward and we can’t wait to start serving our customers.”

The Onvo Travel Plaza — Dorrance will also be home to Onvo’s first EV charging units, which will be installed early this fall.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the travel plaza will be held at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

In celebration of the grand opening, the store will be offering a free coffee of any size to customers for their first week of business, from Aug. 24 to Aug. 31.

Onvo will be marking this occasion with a $2,000 donation to local cancer resource center Candy’s Place.
