Supermodel, actor, TV host and mother Gigi Hadid can now add fashion designer to her list of achievements, as she’s just announced her fashion line: Guest in Residence.
The 27-year-old revealed the news to her 75.2 million Instagram followers, sharing a carousel of photos that showed her busy at work creating her knitwear line.
In the first photo, the runway regular picks out swatches for her collection with her team, and they are later shown reviewing product samples.
Other images reveal a range of fabrics and knitwear, with the final photo seemingly showing Hadid doubling up as designer and fit model when trying on the collection in front of a full-length mirror.

The mum to one-year-old daugther Khai, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, has ‘Khai’s mum’ at the very top of her bio.
In April, Hadid announced that she had collaborated on a swimwear line with Frankies Bikinis, founded by her childhood friend Francesca Aiello.
This came after Frankies previously teased the project.
The pair grew up together in Malibu, California and took inspiration from their friendship for the capsule.
‘We designed this collection with so much love, and I believe that really shines through in the details,’ Gigi said in a statement.
‘Both Frank and I have very social lives but also are big homebodies, and the collection really embodies that side of us.’
The soft colour, subtle prints and flowing silhouettes nod to Hadid’s family home in Pennsylvania.
‘The collection is rooted in friendship and inspired by Gigi’s care-free days at her family’s dreamy countryside home, full of sentiment and nostalgia,’ read a statement on Frankies Bikini’s Instagram post.
Hadid’s motherhood journey also inspired the collection.
The ‘Fawn’ depicting a baby and mother deer indicates Hadid’s ‘joy’ as a first time mum.
‘Gigi is someone that is so special and so inspiring to me,’ Aiello gushed in the release.
‘She is creative, hard working, kind and loving, and combining those incredible personality traits with our deep rooted friendship is what really made this collection not only fun to create together but also to shoot together.’
The 98-piece collection was released with a first drop on May 11 and a final one on June 2.
Back in January, we learned Hadid would be teaming up with Tan France to co-host season two of TV show Next In Fashionreplacing Alexa Chung.

The news was shared via both Hadid and France’s Instagram, with a photo of the pair and an accompanying caption that read: ‘Who would have thought when we met over Facetime 4 years ago (thanks @evachen212) that we’d be hosting NEXT IN FASHION TOGETHER!
‘You read that right! The secret’s out. You better get ready, casting is now open at netflixreality.com/NIF [sic].’
We have a feeling Hadid’s latest business venture will set the tone for more things to come.
