Here’s some good news for fans waiting for Salman Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Tiger 3.’ The release date of the film is finally out! Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the third installment in the ‘Tiger’ franchise will hit the theatres next year on the occasion of Eid. Salman announced the release of Tiger 3 on his social media handles on the tenth anniversary of his film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’-which is the first film in the popular franchise.
On Monday, the Sultan actor posted a video featuring the scenes from 2012 released Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai on his Instagram handle. Alongside it, he wrote, “#10YearsOfEkThaTiger…And the journey continues. Get ready for #Tiger3 on Eid 2023. Celebrate #Tiger3 with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 21st April 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.” The news left fans quite excited who took to the comments section and said they can’t wait to watch it. Written by Aditya Chopra, ‘Tiger 3′ also stars Katrina Kaif- who will be reprising her role, and Emraan Hashmi. The first film was directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Yash Raj Films and was released in 2012. The second part ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar was released on 22 December 2017. The sequel was based on the 2014 abduction of Indian nurses by ISIL. Both the movies were super hit at the box office. Fans are now eagerly waiting to watch the third installment, whose exciting teasers and promos have already been released.
Tiger 3 will reportedly feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special cameo appearance.
