The Houston Dash and United Airlines are partnering to elevate the Dash player travel experience to new heights, the Club announced today.
“As professional athletes who are frequently away from home, the ease and comfort of travel is key to performance,” Houston Dash president Jessica O’Neill said. “This partnership with United will elevate the Dash player experience and their support is vital to our success. We’ll continue to put players first on a consistent basis while aligning with brands that believe in our vision.”
United will become the official airline partner of the Houston Dash beginning this month. The partnership with the airline will mark the first of its kind for the Dash. The Chicago based airline, which houses its second largest hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, will facilitate travel to all away games and will work with the club to deliver a premier travel experience for players by providing several United Traveler Amenities.
“United has a longstanding commitment to the Houston community, including supporting initiatives that spur community growth and celebrate the cultural richness of the many things that make Houston one of our most vibrant hubs,” said Jennifer Entenman, United’s managing director of sponsorships. “We’re excited to become the official airline of the Houston Dash to help further spotlight the outstanding talent of this team and provide a best-in-class experience for them as they travel to compete across the country. In collaboration with the Dash, we will continue to look for ways to engage with women and girls in our community and create opportunities for all women to reach their dreams.”
Both organizations will collaborate on co-branded marketing campaigns that will bring behind-the-scenes travel content to fans through the club’s social media channels.
Houston’s next road trip with United will be on August 20 when the Dash travel to the West Coast for the last time this season to take on San Diego.
