NEW DELHI: BJP leader Sonali Phogat died on Tuesday morning in Goa. The leader from Haryana was a Tik Tok star and had also participated in Big Boss. According to initial reports, Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack. But an autopsy conducted on Thursday found injuries on her body. She was brought dead to the St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna.

- Based on the autopsy report, the police registered a murder case against two associates of Phogat who had accompanied her to Goa
Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi, who had accompanied Phogat have been arrested by the police
- Phogat’s family members had alleged foul play in the death of the BJP leader. On Wednesday, her brother Rinku Dhaka claimed she was murdered by her associates.
- The Goa police had claimed that there were no injury marks on Phogat’s body during physical examination
- Three years ago, one of her aides sexually assaulted her after spiking her food and later blackmailed her, alleged her family members in the complaint to the police
- Phogat had visited the Curlies restaurant at Goa’s Anjuna beach before coming back to her hotel and complaining of uneasiness
- Phogat’s body will reach Delhi tonight
