‘Liger’ opens average – Bollywood News UK

Dharma Productions‘ Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, and American boxer Mike Tyson had an average opening at the UK Box Office. The film released  accross UK cinemas by DG Tech LTD in Telugu and Hindi on 26th August 2022.

Liger opened in 95 locations, collecting a total of £97,189 from both versions, with a site average of £1,023. In Ireland, the film released by Akshaya Traders took an additional £4,989 from 6 locations with a site average of £832. The total weekend gross includes £69,129 from 91 previews.

Telugu movies Karthikeya 2which had a breakthrough at the Indian Box Office, released a week late in the UK and opened in 25 locations raking in £39,631, with a site average of £1,585. The film released on 26th August via Dreams Entertainment Ltd. #

Paramount Pictures UK‘ Laal Singh Chaddhathe widest-ever Indian release in the UK dropped further to 47 location in its third weekend. The Aamir Khan starrer collected £35,270 over the weekend  with a site average of £ 750. The total gross of the film now stands at £802,532, overtaking Gangubai Kathiawadi as the highest grossing Original Hindi film at the UK Box Office this year.

Zee Studios’ Raksha Bandhan collected a poor £4,743 from 22 locations in its third weekend, with a site average of £216. The total gross of the film stands at £137,809.

T-Series’ Ek Villain Returns is still going strong in its fifth weekend. With only 3 locations showing the film in the UK, it collected £5,807, with a site average of £1,936. The total gross of the film stands as £413,943.
