With eight huge realms to explore, you’re going to want to use Fast Travel in Disney Dreamlight Valley as quickly as you can once you start playing the game.
But Fast Travel isn’t given to you by default when you start the game, so you’ll have to complete a few quests to actually unlock it and use it.
In this article, we’ll go over how to unlock Fast Travel in Disney Dreamlight Valley so you can move faster all across the game’s vast lands.
How To Unlock Fast Travel In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Wishing Wells are placed around the realms, and you’ll need those to Fast Travel. They essentially serve as portals from one location to another.
Observant players will notice that they’re blocked at first, making them unable to be used. Thankfully, you can complete some missions to circumvent this obstacle and you’ll be on your merry way.
First, you’ll need to unlock the Dream Castle – but don’t fret, as this is one of the earliest missions in the game, so it shouldn’t take you long.
Next, cleanse the Dream Castle using 2,000 Dreamlights. You’ll then want to speak to Merlin, who will assign you the Friendship Is Everything quest. The Friendship is Everything quest is the quest you need to unlock Fast Travel.
To complete this relatively quick quest, you’ll need to reach Friendship Level 5 with three Villagers in the realm.
You can then return to Merlin to turn in your quest, and he will give you the location of the Orb of Friendship, which you can use to cleanse the nearby Wishing Well.
After finding the Orb of Friendship and returning to our friend Merlin one final time, you’ll be able to Fast Travel using the nearby Well.
As you travel to new realms, you can pay Coins to Scrooge McDuck to unlock and cleanse more Wishing Wells there, giving you more Fast Travel destinations.
And that’s how fast travel works in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
