Check out the teaser of Ishaan Khattar’s war drama ‘Pippa’ – Bollywood News

War dramas based on real life are currently in trend in Bollywood. After the success of films like ‘Shershah’ and ‘Major’, another project depicting the bravery of our armed forces is on its way. Ishaan Khattar, Priyanshu Painyuli and Mrunal Thakur starrer ‘Pippa’ is set to release on 2nd of December and its first teaser was released on the ocassion of Independence Day.

Ishaan, who is going to portray Captain Balram Singh Mehta, a tank commander during 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, shared the teaser of this film on his Instagram and wrote, “PIPPA in cinemas December 2nd, 2022.On the momentous occasion of our country’s Independence Day – presenting a glimpse from a film we’ve collectively put our heart, gut and soul into. May our soil, our people and our culture be blessed always. It’s been an honour to represent the valour and bravery of our defence forces. More to come.”

Talking about the project, director Raja Krishna Menon had said, “With Mrunal and Priyanshu Painyuli joining Ishaan, we have three of the most exciting young actors coming together. Personally, I’m very excited to work with such extraordinary young talent and look forward to the energy they bring to Pippa.”
