NEW DELHI: BJP MP of Lok Sabha from Godda demanded a probe by National Investigation Agency (NIA) into what he called the creeping Islamisation of larger parts of Jharkhand and adjoining Bihar.
The vocal member said that 1800 schools spread over the districts of PakurSahebganj, Godda and Jamtara in his state unilaterally decided to remain closed on Friday instead of Sunday when all government schools take a day off.
Similarly, many schools unilaterally prefixed “Urdu” to their name without any official sanction.
Attributing the change to the demographic change resulting from unabated illegal immigration from Bangladesh, Nishikant Dube said what has happened in Jharkhand has been ackowledged by the state government and is part of the effort to Islamise the country. He urged the Centre to stop the funding of such schools.
