Maddam Sir actress Gulki Joshi opened up about feeling drained out on sets and not enjoying her work at all. While speaking to ETimes TV exclusively, Gulki shared, “There came a time when I stopped enjoying everything around. I stopped enjoying my work, people around me, I had completely gone into a shell. I stopped giving interviews. My human interaction went down to next zero. I was putting in efforts between action and cut. I started to feel hidden below the table all the time. And that’s not who I am. I am a people’s person. I like talking to people, knowing about them. I had the zeal, enthusiasm and I had lost it completely. I was completely detached, I felt I didn’t want to work like this. Matlab kaam karna hai, mehnat karni hai, talent hai but not at the cost of ruining mental health.” Gulki did take a break to rejuvenate herself and resumed work after reducing her work hours.
