Ranbir Kapoor invited heavy criticism following his ‘phailod’ comment on Alia Bhatt. The actor’s comments were instantly termed ‘insensitive’ and he was brutally slammed on social media. However, he even apologized for his comment.
The video appears to be from the promotions of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Ranbir can be seen mocking his co-star’s anxiety and going as far as to even make her medication public.
During the conversation on social media, he says, “Anushka is the anxiety queen… She takes anti-anxiety pills even if she has to have a conversation because she is frantic… She has a medical problem, and she has mental problems also, and a hygiene problems, but we accept her. She’s precious.”
Anushka had later clapped back at him and called him out, even if jokingly so, but netizens weren’t happy with Ranbir Kapoor making private information public and mocking a person’s mental health condition.
During her appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show during the promotions of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, she revealed how inquisitive Kapoor was. Describing him as super annoying, she revealed that he asks too many questions and wants to know everything about you – even what medicines you are taking. He said when he would come to her room, he would check her drawers to know that.
Reacting to the same, several netizens rushed to social media and slammed RK for his comments.
