Customers Can Take Advantage Of Some Excellent Deals To And From Some Of The Country’s Most Popular Cities
With summer officially a thing of the past, it’s time to look to the Fall and Winter. But as domestic flights aren’t always the best value, getting to some of the US’ best cities isn’t always the cheapest.
Thankfully, Southwest Airlines has launched a three-week airfare sale for flights running all the way through until the end of Winter. With some flights as low as $59, there’s no better time to get maximum value for your money. But anyone hoping to grab a deal will need to move relatively quickly, as the sale is only on for the next three weeks. While the vast majority of the flights are domestic, there are a few international routes in there too.
There are a few caveats for those purchasing tickets, though. All tickets must be purchased at least twenty-one days in advance of departure and make the transaction before October 3rd at 11:59 PM CT. There are a few blackout dates when flights can’t be booked as well, like November 17th through November 29th, 2022 and December 16, 2022, through January 2, 2023 – Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The available flights run from October 3rd through February 15th and virtually all discounted flights are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It should be made clear any rates discussed are one-way fares.
The easiest way to scan for deals is to search on this portal using your closest airport. The page handily offers a comprehensive list of all potential flights and prices. Some of the most notable flights are Chicago to Nashville and Austin to New Orleans, which are both listed at $59. Most of the other $59 routes made up of short-haul routes between regional cities, which could be useful for those hoping to see friends or travel for work.
Austin to Boston flights are as cheap as $93, making a trip to the Northeast super affordable.
Denver locals can grab a flight to the Canadian border at Bellingham for only $80 or out to California for just $60. A Niagara Falls trip on the New York side is possible for just $110.
Chicago O’Hare has flights available to Cancun for just over $200, making a sunny getaway possible for those getting a little too bothered by the cold. If more cold is exactly what is required, Denver flights to Chicago are only $126 each week way.
Every Californian destination has flights to Hawaii for $138. Long Beach, Oakland, San Jose, and San Diego are all included in those routes.
Interestingly, Havana, Cuba, gets a lot of activity for some super-affordable fares. Twenty-one American cities now have flights Cuba. Amazingly, all of the routes are capped at $221, with the vast majority sitting at $201.
Las Vegas, currently one of the most popular cities in the US, has a huge amount of flights listed in the sale, with super cheap fares coming in from California for the short jaunt. Almost all of the Cali to Vegas flights are listed at $59 there and back, while further afield destinations like Charlotte, Chicago, or DC are looking at around $150 each way.
Remember, the sale will only be running until October 3rd, so make sure any future travel plans are made well in advance to help save money. Discounted tickets are limited, so it is possible that popular routes might disappear before the sale is up. All tickets can be booked on the Southwest portal listed above.
