Saints Row fast travel – getting around the map explained

Saints Row has finally returned. It’s in a rebooted format, of course, and has a brand-new setting in the South-West United States, but the wacky antics the series is known for remain despite the glow-up. There’s a vast open world to team up with friends in and cause lots of mayhem, if you’re so inclined. But with Saints Row fast travel, you won’t have to worry about travelling everywhere by foot or car.

The Saints Row fast travel system means that you can zoom around the map at will, loading in near the missions and quests that you want to complete. And trust us, there is going to be a lot of travelling because there’s a lot to do in Saints Row’s open-world desert landscape.

Saints Row fast travel

Saints Row’s fast travel will be familiar to those who have played an open-world game before. You are able to fast travel to hideouts that have been unlocked, and other key buildings and areas dotted around the map.

To unlock fast travel to new areas, you must first visit them and unlock the Saints HQ in the main story. New fast travel spots can also be unlocked by finishing Discoveries in the world, which are like small side missions that require you to do things like find drugs or take a photo.

We don’t have the exact fast travel locations yet seeing as the game isn’t out, but rest assured that as soon as we get hands-on with the game, we’ll update this section to include more information.
