CoVenture, an asset-management company that invests in technology companies, has brought aboard Morgan Stanley counsel Naved Sheikh as general counsel.
Sheikh was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where he was lead counsel for its investment management’s infrastructure, Asia-focused private equity and growth capital teams and other private investing businesses.
Miami-based CoVenture backs founders of innovative technology startups with venture capital or debt financing, or both. The company said it serves clients in the United States.
