CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Samsung is showing off two of its newest foldable smartphones in its fourth generation Galaxy Z series – the Flip4 and the Fold4.
The tech company says the Flip4 has an upgraded camera experience, larger battery, and expanded customization, all while staying ultra compact.
With FlexCam, the Flip4 lets you shoot hands-free video, and get group selfies from different angles.
Samsung says this phone is great for content creators and vloggers.
You can also do a lot without ever opening the phone.
Use the cover screen to make calls, reply to texts, and even unlock your car!
The Flip’s battery also lasts longer between charges, and can charge up to 50 percent in about a half an hour.
The price for the Flip4 starts at about $1,000, and comes in purple, graphite, pink gold, and blue.
If you love to multitask, the Galaxy Z Fold4 smartphone is for you.
Samsung says it’s the first device to ship with Android 12L, a special version created by Google.
You can get more done on the go with the new Taskbar.
The layout’s similar to your PC, helping you access your favorite apps, easily swipe through them, and switch full-screen apps to pop-up windows, or split your screen in half.
The price for the Fold4 starts at about $1800, and comes in graygreen, beige, and black.
Samsung also unveiled an updated version of its Bluetooth earbuds.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are 15 percent smaller than before.
They have surround sound, and noise cancellation features.
And if you happen to misplace them, SmartThings Find makes it easy to locate them quickly and easily.
The price for these earbuds starts at about $230. They come in graphite, white, and purple.
Both the Galaxy Z phones and earbuds will be available starting August 26 online and in stores.
Samsung is offering special discounts on them if you preorder now.
