Adelman Unveils Guest Travel Management Offering

Adelman Travel has added a service to help companies manage guest travel, the travel management company announced.
Adelman’s Elite Guest Travel Management is designed to handle travel, payment and reimbursement for such travelers as prospective and new hires, clients, vendors, training attendees, traveling medical professional and field and crew workers, according to the TMC. The service is available both for Adelman clients and those using other TMCs.
With the service, Adelman offers a dedicated agency team to work with a company’s guest travel coordinator. Travel can be booked either through an agent or a self-service option, in which travelers make their own arrangements and can submit receipts to receive reimbursement for any ancillary costs, Adelman director of customer technology and global solutions Jeff Ochaita said. The service incorporates a company’s travel policy as well as any preferred vendors or contracts.
Travelers get 24-hour support through the service and also can use customized payment options, including virtual and mobile. Companies get full reporting and traveler tracking through the service, according to Adelman.
Adelman president and COO Jason Horstman said he has seen higher demand from clients for guest travel management options.
“Many companies lost employees during the pandemic and are now struggling to replace them,” he said in a statement. “As a result, they are regularly bringing in candidates from remote locations for interviews. The initial travel experience can be a factor in how the candidate perceives the company and may determine whether or not they accept a job offer.”
