AmTrav has appointed new executives to lead sales, marketing and technology efforts at the travel services and technology platform provider as it prepares for “substantial growth” throughout the rest of this year.

The company hired Susan Hathaway-Altman as chief sales officer, a role in which she will lead AmTrav’s sales team and create its go-to-market strategy. Hathaway-Altman most recently was VP of business development for Atlas Travel, and she has held executive positions at both BCD Travel and American Express Global Business Travel.

Tim Jones has joined AmTrav as chief marketing officer, where he is tasked with creating a “marketing engine” for the company, according to AmTrav. Jones has a background in technology at such companies as cloud communication platform Dialpad and has run a marketing-focused consulting practice.

AmTrav also has named Gaurav Patel, the company’s VP of engineering since 2017, as chief technology officer, where he will continue to lead AmTrav’s development team in building and improving the company’s platform.

In addition, AmTrav reports that it has hired more than 20 new travel advisors as client booking volumes has doubled over the past year. The company expects growth to continue in the coming months, and AmTrav cofounder and CEO Jeff Klee said the company is “building a team to meet those escalating demands and to help spread the word about AmTrav.”
