Andavo Travel has named Nikki Miner professional development manager.

In the newly created role, Miner will support the Salt Lake City-based host agency’s network of advisors and run its new advisor program.

Miner comes to the role with more than 20 years of experience. For the last seven, she’s been an independent contractor with Andavo. Before that, she managed client portfolios for both leisure and corporate clients and developed advisor training programs.

Andavo began its search for the new post in recognition of an influx of new-to-industry advisors.

“We have seen rapid growth in individuals looking to have their own leisure travel business,” vice president Kirsten Little said in a release. “Creating this new role for our organization will expand our brand and network, serving as a champion for both our current and new advisors to drive results for the high goals set for the company.”

Several host agencies in recent months have promoted individuals to roles directly supporting their independent contractors.

Andavo is part of Christopherson Andavo Travel, No. 23 on Travel Weekly’s 2022 Power List.
