Flight Centre Names New Leaders for Canada

Flight Centre Travel Group has named Chris Lynes, president of the group’s Corporate Traveler brand in the Americas, as managing director of the group’s Canadian business, the company announced.

Lynes, who has been with the group since 2000, is succeeding John Beauvais, who retired on June 30, and will be responsible for leading strategy and growth across the group’s businesses in Canada. He will retain his position over the Corporate Traveler brand in the Americas as well.

The group also appointed Brian McLaren as EVP for Flight Centre Brand Canada, where he will be responsible for retail and digital growth in the region. McLaren has been with the group for about 20 years, most recently as SVP of leisure supply in the Americas.
