AMRITSAR: Punjab police on Friday filed a chargesheet against 34 people in a Mansa court in the Sidhu Moose None murder case and named jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as the mastermind.
“As of now, four people are in foreign countries while eight are yet to be arrested. A total of 122 people are there for testimony,” ANI quoted Mansa senior superintendent of police Gaurav Toora as saying.
Besides Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, the others who have been named in the Punjabi singer murder case chargesheet include Manmohan MohanaDeepak Tinu, Sandeep Kekda, Ankit Sirsa, Priyavrat Fauji, Sachin Bhiwani, Keshav, Kashish, Manpreet Manu and Jagroup Roopa.
Sidhu Moose Wala, a singer and Congress leader, was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district — a day after the state government reduced his security cover.
He was travelling in a jeep with his cousin and a friend, both of whom were hurt in the incident.
