PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday said that the TikTok star and Haryana BJP leader Sonali Phogat murder case will be handed over to CBI.

Speaking to TOI Sawant said “Haryana Chief minister has called me and urged to handover Phogat murder case to CBI. I have told him that we don’t have any problem and we will hand it over to CBI.”
Sawant said that Phogat’s family members have met Haryana chief minister and demanded handing over the case to CBI.

Goa police has registered two separate cases in connection with Phogat murder case. In murder case, Sudhir Sangvan and Sukhwinder Singh have already been arrested and remanded to 10-day police custody.

In narcotics case, out of five people booked, three people have been arrested. the other two booked in this case are-Sangvan and Singh. Local court rejected the bail application of Curlies owner Edwin Nunes.
JMFC Mapusa remanded Nunes, alleged drug peddler Dattaprasad Gaonkar and Ramdas alias Rama Mandrekar to five days police custody.
