On Sridevi’s 59th birth anniversary, her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor left everyone emotional with their touching tributes to the late actress. Taking to Instagram, Janhvi dug out a childhood picture with her mother. In the adorable image, Sridevi could be seen hugging little Janhvi. She also penned a note in memory of her mother. Janhvi wrote, “Happy birthday Mumma.. I miss you more and more every day. I love u forever.” Khushi, who is all set to make her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s adaptation of ‘The Archies’, shared a black and white picture of her mother kissing her. It was February 24, 2018, when the entire nation was flabbergasted by the untimely demise of legendary actress Sridevi. She died due to “accidental drowning” in the bathtub of room number 2201 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, where she was staying in Dubai. The sudden death left her family and fans shocked and heartbroken. Sridevi was gone too soon leaving behind her husband Boney Kapoor and her two young daughters Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. However, the loss was too heavy to bear but all family members including Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor emerged as the pillar of strength for each other. Sridevi was a doting mother and a caring wife. Often, she used to share pictures of herself with her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor. Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, Sridevi is known for her iconic roles in Hindi films like ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Sadma’ and ‘English Vinglish’, among many more. The Padma Shri awardee also made a mark with her extraordinary performances in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
