Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl have set the perfect example of how to be ‘friendly exes.’ Last year in December, they parted ways after dating each other for about three years. The actress announced their separation via a post on social media. However, Sushmita and Rohman are cordial with each other and are often spotted hanging out together. Recently, the former Miss Universe celebrated her mother Subhra Sena’s birthday, and Shawl was part of the celebrations.
To give a glimpse of her mom’s birthday party, Sushmita went live on her Instagram with her doting mother and interacted with fans. But what took everyone by surprise was Rohman Shawl appeared during her Instagram live session. He was seen in conversation with the actress’s daughters, Renee and Alisah. The model was spotted in the background whereas businessman Lalit Modi was nowhere to be seen. In the video, we can see just when Sushmita asked everyone to pose together before the camera during the Live, Rohman preferred to remain out of the frame. Several photos of Sushmita with Rohman in the background from her live session have gone viral. While many showered love on her, a few users trolled her for partying with her ex. One user commented, “Dekh rahe ho Lalitji kaise ex ke saath party kiya jaa raha hai.” Another wrote, “Kon hai yeh log kaha se ate hai asai log.” Many of her ardent fans come out in her support and said we should not intrude in her personal space.
For the unversed, on July 14, Lalit Modi shared mushy photos of him with Sushmita from their Maldives vacation and announced they are a couple. He called the actress his ‘better half’ and partner. Modi also clarified that they are not married yet but one day that too will happen.
