“Let’s begin with news on Brahmastra.

When it comes to Hindi films, veteran actor Nagarjuna says he always looks for an experience that satisfies his soul and it is the reason why he took up Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The actor returns to Hindi cinema after close to two decades with a cameo appearance in Ayan Mukerji-directed fantasy adventure epic, led by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

“I had seen in ‘Maharabharata’ where they had used these astras in the war and that interested me. When he was telling me all these things, I was happy that somebody in India is making this. It took me back to all those memories. And it didn’t take long for me to say yes.” ”
“True to the opening credits of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Ayan Mukerji is “eternally grateful to Mr Shah Rukh Khan” who, besides his extended cameo, brought his expertise of having worked on many VFX-heavy films to the director’s most ambitious project.

In a conversation with PTI, Mukerji said, “We wrote that in our credits, ‘Eternally grateful to Mr Shah Rukh Khan. Sometimes, people come and do something so generous and large-hearted. There is no way to ever repay what Shah Rukh Khan has done on Brahmastra. Unanimously, one of the favourite things in Brahmastra has been Shah Rukh sir’s sequence,”

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theatres on September 9 to mixed reviews, but SRK’s cameo was only given praise.”
“Meanwhile,

Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has opened up about his experience of working with Om Puri and recalled how the legend, who passed away in 2017, was an incredibly giving actor who would stop at nothing to give a good shot, even if it was at the expense of his discomfort.

“I worked with Om Puri when I made my third film, He was so graceful and generous. When one says, ‘he was graceful’, it is almost as if they were boring people. Like everyone who talks about Irrfan, these days sounds like he was a boring person. He was not. Those were wonderful, ambitious, complicated times.”””

Jackie Shroff has responded to Anil Kapoor’s revelations on Koffee with Karan where he opened up about his insecurities regarding Jackie. On the popular and controversial chat show, Anil said that he was rather insecure after Jackie had bagged a big film with Subhash Ghai.

Jackie told Times Now “It is normal to look up to your older brother and say that, but I know he is a guy who cares for me deep down in his heart and what he says is such a beautiful emotional display which not many people say it. That gives me a lot of credit, when a man of his calibre says that, he is giving me so much respect,””
“Actor Hrithik Roshan launched the first song of his upcoming film Vikram Vedha titled “Alcoholia” at Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Galaxy in Bandra. Here, the actor recalled how he felt like a star for the first time when his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was released at this theatre.

Hrithik was told his health wouldn’t allow him to dance. He said, “I remember one more thing when I did Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, doctors had said that my health condition is not so good. That I can’t do action films and dance. I took it as a challenge and I paid attention to my health and fitness and learnt my work. I have done so much work in these years now.””
“Alcoholia, the first song from Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, was released at an event in Mumbai. Actors Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf joined Hrithik and Saif at the launch event.

“Alcoholia” is set inside a dingy bar with Hrithik dancing to Vishal And Sheykhar’s beats. Written by Manoj Muntashir, and sung by Vishal-Shekhar, Snigdhajit Bhowmik and Ananya Chakraborty, the song is presented as a dance number. Ganesh Hegde has choreographed the track.

Vikram Vedha features Hrithik playing an anti-hero named Vedha, who goes up against a cop named Vikram, played by Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, the film is the remake of their own 2017 Tamil film, which starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan.”
“Lastly,

Dulquer Salmaan promoted Sita Ramam’s Hindi version in Mumbai on Friday with his co-star Mrunal Thakur. At the press meet, the actor reacted sternly when he was asked who would he like to see in the Hindi remake of Sita Ramam.

Revealing why he thinks remaking a film is not a great idea, Dulquer said, “Even before I became an actor, I knew then that if there is a classic film, if the film is loved, is a huge hit, not to touch it. I don’t think it is a film that can be made again, honestly. Just because it is loved and done so well, you can’t milk it. It is like the golden egg story. You can’t kill the goose.””
