NEW DELHI, November 3 — Delhi’s air quality remained “very poor” on Tuesday, with the citywide AQI at 330 at 8 am, according to Central Pollution Control Board data cited in current reporting.
Several neighbourhoods recorded severe pollution. Jahangirpuri registered 451, while Rohini, Punjabi Bagh and Bawana also crossed 400. These local readings were higher than the citywide average.
The deterioration follows Monday’s 4 pm AQI of 324. Stage II of the Graded Response Action Plan remains in force across NCR, with intensified road cleaning, water sprinkling and dust-control measures.
Authorities have also stepped up vehicle checks. Residents planning journeys should check current air-quality readings and official traffic updates, as conditions vary by location and time.
