The weather alert from the IMD stated that thunderstorms, lighting, winds, and rainfall will prevail throughout the capital on alternate days during June 16 to June 21, whereas there may be a sudden occurrence of dust storms in some parts of the area. But today there was a slight reprieve in form of unexpected rains. Parts of the capital received sudden rains along with dust storms and strong winds during the day. There has been issued a weather alert due to sudden gusts of strong winds which swept over the national capital.
